Shop all ten paperbacks — $9.99 USD each

The audiobook audience asked for something they could put on a shelf. By popular demand, Terms of Extraction is now available in print: all ten volumes, each a $9.99 USD paperback. No subscription. No battery. The page stays where you left it.

The aim is to keep the printed editions affordable. Shipping and applicable tax are added at checkout, where you can review the final total before paying.

Zero publisher cut on direct author sales

Greenlight Publishing takes no cut or commission on direct sales authors make through their own websites. That includes readers arriving through the author’s own direct promotions: a newsletter, a social post, or a link shared with someone who still reads past the headline.

The author brings the reader. Greenlight does not take a percentage of that direct sale. In a series about extraction, this seemed like a useful place to stop extracting.

The $9.99 price helps cover printing, fulfillment, payment processing, hosting and the ongoing costs of keeping the service running. Those costs still need to be recouped even though Greenlight takes no commission on direct author sales. Shipping and applicable tax are separate. This policy concerns the direct author website channel, not third-party retail sales. The price is an affordability choice, not an audited allocation of exactly $9.99 in costs per book or a claim that the author receives the full retail price.

From your headphones to your hands

If you have been listening, here is the version you can underline. Each English paperback contains all ten chapters, plus ten black-and-white Clip cartoons with sarcastic anti-AI commentary. Apparently even the office stationery has concerns.

The books are by Anonymous, Former Big Tech Insider. Across the ten volumes, the series follows the writing, resources, labor, money and trust consumed by the AI boom—and the people left holding the invoice.

These are 6 × 9-inch paperbacks with full-color matte covers. Lulu prints and fulfills orders on demand. The shop takes you to Lulu checkout, with payment processed through Stripe. You choose delivery and see the shipping, tax and final total before placing an order.

Want to read before buying? The first three complete chapters of every volume remain free on this website, with no sign-up. And the They warned you reading list still points to the brave researchers and journalists behind the public record. Support their work, too.

Ten books. Real paper. One modest invoice. The machine can generate its own bookmark.

A water glass and a crumpled receipt on an office table: the future has left the meeting, but the bill remains.
